What are You Speaking?

We all need a positivity upgrade. Proverbs 8:21; James 3: 3-5 Power of speaking Life: Words need to change circumstances, not just describe them. Joel 3: 10, Romans 10:17, Ephesians 4:29, Matthew 12:34, Genesis 1:2&3

Who is Your Circle?

Job, Moses and Jesus demonstrate the influence of a circle of people who hold our arms up when we are weak and stand for the same core values with Jesus as the center of our Circle.

Time of Hiding

I Kings 18-19 relates the contest on Mt. Carmel between Elijah and 450 prophets of Baal but Elijah felt defeated as he sat under a broom tree. Never see life at the end of a tunnel; remember what God has done before and expect the same. He wants to lead us to a deeper season. Psalm 27: 5 He wants to hear our cry and hide us in His shelter. Victory requires preparation for the next victory.

The Adventure: Editing the Packing List

Philippians 3: 7-15 In pursuit of courage we need to face our fears: change, the unknown, fear of what others think, fears of hurts from our past. The Wells

Gentleness & Self Control

Gentleness and Self Control are the final listed in the Fruit of the Spirit. At the end of the sermon we repeat questions that help us evaluate how our character is becoming more like Christ.
