What’s the Position?

Are You Resting? Genesis 1 begins with God’s work of creation and for six days, “Evening and Morning were the __ Day.” On the seventh day, God enters into Rest and we can be in that position of resting in Him. In 2 Chronicles 20: 12-22 Israel rests in what God will do.

Unforgiveness holds us back from TRUE LIFE! I forgive, cease resentment, give up my claim. We are not called to hold judgement, exercise a critical spirit. Matthew 7: 1-5 Luke 6: 37-38 Colossians 6: 7-8

Joshua 5: 1-12 Allow for the cutting away of the weight & sin Space for healing to happen Psalm 147: 2 & 3 He heals wounds of every shattered heart

The Impossible Future

Joshua 23: 10 We can’t move toward the impossible future without change in our thinking and behavior. Change is safe because He fights for us; change has provision; change will move us into our promised land. Romans 12: 2 “The renewed mind is the canvas on which the Holy Spirit of God can paint.” Bill Johnson. Suggested viewing: Elevator Worship “Evidence Now”

Is God Frozen?

God is Present Now. We have situations where we freeze frame God in the past. We need to focus on what God is doing now. Rev. 3:20 He is knocking. John 15: 1-11 Abide in the true Vine to bear Fruit. Galatians 5:16-18 Abiding is Walking in His Spirit.

Are We Called to Chaos?

Ask for Wisdom (James 1: 58) Partner with His plan for you (Jer. 29:11) Stay in step with the Spirit (Gal. 5:25) Sonship, walking as a son (Romans 8: 16 & 17) Improve Servant Leadership (Luke 2:52) Legacy (Luke 13:22 & Acts 2:39)

What are You Speaking?

We all need a positivity upgrade. Proverbs 8:21; James 3: 3-5 Power of speaking Life: Words need to change circumstances, not just describe them. Joel 3: 10, Romans 10:17, Ephesians 4:29, Matthew 12:34, Genesis 1:2&3

Who is Your Circle?

Job, Moses and Jesus demonstrate the influence of a circle of people who hold our arms up when we are weak and stand for the same core values with Jesus as the center of our Circle.

Time of Hiding

I Kings 18-19 relates the contest on Mt. Carmel between Elijah and 450 prophets of Baal but Elijah felt defeated as he sat under a broom tree. Never see life at the end of a tunnel; remember what God has done before and expect the same. He wants to lead us to a deeper season. Psalm 27: 5 He wants to hear our cry and hide us in His shelter. Victory requires preparation for the next victory.
