I Kings 18-19 relates the contest on Mt. Carmel between Elijah and 450 prophets of Baal but Elijah felt defeated as he sat under a broom tree. Never see life at the end of a tunnel; remember what God has done before and expect the same. He wants to lead us to a deeper season. Psalm 27: 5 He wants to hear our cry and hide us in His shelter. Victory requires preparation for the next victory.
